Police in Kabete Sub-County, Nairobi are investigating what transpired before the death of a university student suspected to have committed suicide inside her room.
The University of Nairobi Veterinary Medicine female student’s body, tied with a scarf, was found hanging on the room’s door.
The institution’s Director of Corporate Affairs Mr John Orinda said that drugs used to treat depression were recovered from the room, an indication that she might have been fighting depression.
Upper Kabete Campus students maintained that the late was in high spirits and they had not showed any sign of depression prior to her death.
