The man who murdered a female Laikipia University first-year student inside a hostel has died from severe head injuries.
Ezra Koech, died Friday morning while receiving treatment at Nyahururu County Referral Hospital for injuries sustained in mob beating following the Wednesday incident.
He stabbed Getrude Chepkoech, his girlfriend’s roommate, inside her room while the lover was taking an exam.
It is alleged the man was an engineering student at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology in Nyeri.
