Police in Migori are hunting down a 20-year-old man suspected to have murdered her Form Three girlfriend in a suspected love dispute.
According to eyewitnesses, the man waylaid the 17-year-old while she was on her way home from school and stabbed her using a knife before fleeing to an unknown hideout.
The female student succumbed to injuries while being rushed to the hospital.
The motive of the Sunday evening attack is yet to be established investigations continue.
