Isiolo youth are in grief following the death of Kenya Football Federation (FKF) Isiolo branch chair Adan Kerrow.
Mr Kerrow, who was also the ODM party Isiolo branch Vice-Chair, died on Wednesday night while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Isiolo town.
Following his death, sportsmen and women have eulogized him as a peace-loving, football enthusiast and hardworking man who was committed to nurturing local talents saying he had left an indelible mark.
Youth leader and FKF Isiolo Branch Secretary-General Joseph Eskuku said that Mr Kerrow offered exemplary leadership especially in ensuring unity and inclusivity of all players and safeguarding their rights.
“He was a nice person who listened to all and did not discriminate anyone. He was a role model to us,’’ said Eskuku.
Mr Abdulahi Shallow Ibrahim, a resident, eulogized the late as a visionary leader.
“He stood for what was right and defended other people’s rights including the less,” Mr Shallow said.
The late was also an aide to one of the Isiolo MCAs.
