Over 10 ward representatives in Baringo, County Assembly Speaker D. Kiplagat and his deputy Jacob. C have been summoned by the anti-graft agency over skirmishes that arose last week during the debating of the Building Bridges Initiative Amendment Bill 2020.
The county was the first to reject the constitutional amendment bill (opposed by 30 MCAs) though three MCAs have already moved to court seeking cancellation of the exercise on claims that adequate public participation was not done before the document was presented in the County Assembly.
